A New Chapter: Company Update!
“From individual to organization; private sector to third sector; multi-national to mom and pop and everything in between, I’m here to help you shape your story and grow your cause. It all starts and ends with a story. How are you telling yours?”
Through the past year, we've had the pleasure of helping a variety of folks grow their visions. From millennial marketing think tank The National Millennial Community, to a luxury NYC real estate rising star and private advisement to unique donors we've been doing it all in the name of helping our clients tell better stories and build better futures.
If it seems like we wear a lot of hats here at the firm, it's because we do. But what ties it all together?
Narrative
I'm building a culture here of narrative driven consulting for all areas of business. I decided the time has come to write a regular blog to help folks understand the wide array of services we offer as well as a back-room view of some of the clients we serve and areas we're growing.
To kick off this blog; I figured a good place to start would be the beginning.
This firm's brick and mortar operations started just over a year ago, following almost a decade of home-based and remote work as a consultant and freelancer. I wanted to create a place where I could foster a creative environment dedicated to exploring new ways to relate narratives.
Narratives for my clients include financial (fundraising or business plans) and strategic (cases for support, mission or vision statement creation and revilement etc) or tactical (grants, appeals, visual assets like video campaigns or social media driven online fundraising/marketing campaigns) and managerial (board governance, headhunting or growth strategy).
We've recently added private sector fundraising to our arsenal and are proud to be partnered with Impact Capital Advisors and others on a variety of projects you can view here. On the heels of preliminarily closing the last $200,000 of a commodity raise; we're excited to also have access to the seres A of an American Rugby Seven's league, a groundbreaking language learning app, a phenomenal TV series based on revolutionary Cuba and Boston Harbor Distillery (headed by the former co-founder of Sam Adams, Rhonda Kallman.)
I'm especially excited for our consultative partnership with groundbreaking Benefit Magazine (website forthcoming) to serve the UHNW community through philanthropic planning, events, and collective impact projects.
I myself will also be heading a new company with one of our philanthropic advisement clients dedicated to a slew of global charitable medical initiatives and multi-national philanthrocapitalist projects.
As many of you know, I'm also a fashion nut, so it goes without saying that one of my most exciting new projects is the private seed round we're doing for former VP of design & development for Marc Jacobs and Donna Karen, the talented couturier Kevin Johnn and his long awaited namesake line as he seeks to ramp up production and blow the roof off the industry.
Moral of the story: Stay tuned!
